So this is when the rain started. I try not to be cranky on this. Weather happens. Definitely don’t want it to ruin a trip. But this was just cold and wet. Almost all day.
I do love my Columbia jacket though. I can crumple it up and stuff it places, tie it around my waist, or wear it over a bunch of layers for warmth. For anyone that does significant stroller pushing, the rain jacket is a must. I have FINALLY learned that you can’t push a stroller and hold an umbrella. My only beef with this jacket is that if I have my hair pulled up on top of my head, the hood won’t stay up. Which is a little annoying because I am most likely to have a messy up do on rainy days. But no matter. I love this jacket.
And I must confess that I put on my black sweater right after we took these photos.
Oh this wet day, we started with best churros ever at Xurreria Sagrada Familia. Thus fortified, we had a tour of the Sagrada Familia. Lunch at Cantina Mexicana. Afternoon nap. Then toured Gaudi’s La Pedrera and had a late snack at Garage Beer Company. Definitely recommend the priority tickets for La Pedrera. It was great being able to walk up whenever we wanted and cut the line instead of having a specific time booked.
